THANKSGIVING BROOM BOWL CHALLENGE - November 2009; from 3:30 to 5:30 pm
A new twist combining broomball and bowling.

Each December, skaters can join in the fun during SKATE WITH SANTA
A jolly old elf skates during two public sessions and hands out candy canes to all participants. The competition is fierce each December as local high schools compete in the annual.

George Cron Holiday Hockey Tournament
High schools interested in competing can contact the rink for information. Hockey enthusiasts who just want to enjoy the fast pace of the game are welcome to watch for a nominal admission fee.

Learn and Perfect

Do it alone or with a group -- either way, you can learn this life-long skill. Ice skating professionals teach private figure skating and ice dancing lessons on a half-hourly basis. They also teach half-hour group skating lessons for six week periods beginning each October, December and January. Experience is not required for any of these lessons, and sessions are available for both children and adults. Advanced registration is required for all lessons.

Ice Hockey

Boys and girls ages 4 to 12 can enroll in the Recreational Hockey Program, run in conjunction with the Cranford Hockey Club. Youngsters are grouped by ability and taught the basics of this popular sport. Three 6 hour sessions are available during the season.

Prior experience is not required but all participants must provide their own basic hockey equipment.

Open Hockey, for adults ages 18 and over, is offered on Wednesday afternoon.
Participants must have a helmet with shield or cage and their own stick.
An admission fee is charged for all players except goalies. No registration is necessary.
